Using drawing and mood boards as springboards for discussion we listen, decode and interpret what our clients want and can potentially achieve in their gardens.

This leads us to develop sustainable highly individual site-specific designs that work in context and reflect the individual aesthetic and functional aspirations of our clients.

We provide a range of services from one-off consultations right through to full design packages involving the following stages:

01: Site analysis and garden design survey

Involving an understanding of the existing site conditions including aspect, soil type, relevant dimensions, slopes, locations of existing features and understanding of the site in context. We recommend a full topographical survey be carried out by a professional surveyor when sites are large and complicated.

02: Concept development and masterplan

This is the fun part of the process where several sketch proposals are produced for discussion to match the clients ‘wish list’. At this stage drawings are modified in line with an agreed brief and a masterplan of the preferred option is created. This includes mood boards of the style of planting and materials proposed.

03: Detailed design and specification

This includes setting out drawings, lighting plans, specifications and construction details. Some clients may wish to carry out the garden build themselves, others opt to have the scheme costed by a landscape contractor. We can provide the tender package of information and manage the tender process.

04: Site inspections during construction stage

This involves inspecting the professional landscape contractors are following the garden design plan in detail and that any changes that occur on site follow the thrust of the design and stay within budget. We recommend a minimum of three site visits depending on the complexity of the design.

05: Styling

We source planters, furniture, sculptures and accessories to suit the style of the property.

Budget, maintenance and the clients individual taste are foremost in our considerations.
